Tonight’s Friday Night Action tournament had three exciting quads. NM Joshua Colas and NM Ian Harris tied for first in the top quad with 2 points each. While the first section was close, the others each had a clear outright winner. Second seed Hanon Russell had a great performance and won all three of his games. Similarly, in quad 3, Guy Colas won all three of his games to take clear first. Colas won the section by a 1.5 point margin and picked up enough rating points to propel him over 1700!
