Saturday G/45 Quads

There were no perfect scores today in six very balanced quads.  Quad one was won by NM Mikhail Koganov with 2.5/3.  Bryan Weisz continued his recent string of successes winning quad two, also with a score of 2.5/3 and is now approaching 1900!  Quad two was the most hotly contested section of the day.  Matthew Hochberg, Thomas Ewald, and Brent McCreesh traded victories to tie with 2/3 each.  Matthew Liew and Luis-Jaime Casenas ran away with quad four, but it was Liew who edged out Casenas by a half point for sole first place.  The Behringers had a strong showing, with Meena winning quad five with 2/3 and Neel sharing first place with Yikuan Zhou in quad six also with 2/3.  Don’t miss another exciting tournament this weekend!
