Today’s tournament had 4 competitve quads and a six player swiss. However, another club memeber has achieved the status of National Master! After 2 hard fought victories and 1 loss, new NM Ethan Gu has reached a long-awaited title. Many congratulations Ethan!

The first quad winner was FM Max Lu with a total of 2.5 points out of 3. Quad 2 was won by NY newcomer Andrew Zinn, in his second tournament at CCFC. He won with a score of 3/3 points. In Quad 3, CCFC member Alex Kupersmith also achieved a perfect 3/3 score, taking home the prize.

In quad 4, returning CCFC member Xan Meister takes first place with a score of 2/3 points! Finally, in the lower swiss section, CCFC member Josh Berkun won, following Andrew Zinn and Alex Kupersmith's example, with a perfect 3/3 points!
