Saturday G/45 Quads


Today's Saturday G/45 Quads tournament featured 9 highly competitive quad sections! Starting in Quad 1, there was a tie for first place! NY Player Luc Hoffman and CCFC Member Aditeya Das tied for first in their section with a score of 2/3 points! In Quad 2, CCFC Member Max Ingargiola narrowly won his section with a score of 2/3 points! Ingargiola's only loss was a difficult round 1 game against against NJ Player Ryan Zhu, originating from a variation of the Scotch Game opening! This is also Ingargiola's third quad victory in a row at CCFC, well done! In Quad 3, there was a three-way tie for first place between CCFC Members Michael Li, George Bugayev, and CCFC Manager Matthew Shirvell! All players ended the tournament with 2/3 points. In Quad 4, there was another two-way tie between CCFC Member Anson Leong and CT Player Henry Graham! Both players won with a score of 2/3 points!

Quad 5 was won by CCFC Member Kannan Vaidyanathan! Vaidyanathan ended the tournament with a score of 2.5/3 points, only drawing in round 1 against CCFC Member Lev Shangin. In Quad 6, there was another two-way tie between CCFC Members Mikhail Bilokin and Max Zhang! Both players scored 2/3 points.

In Quad 7, NY Player Jack Kamen strongly dominated his section with a perfect score of 3/3 points, congratulations! In Quad 8, NY Player Leah Chan won with a score of 2.5/3 points! This is Chan's second ever tournament here, and her first quad victory at CCFC, well done! Finally, Quad 9 featured yet another two-way tie for first. NY Players Cameron Siegal and Noah Goldstein won their section with a score of 2.5/3 points! Both players won two of their games, and drew each other in round 2. This is also both Siegal and Goldstein's first ever tournament at CCFC, congratulations on the quad victory!
