K-12 Scholastic Championships


This month's K-12 Scholastic Championships hosted a total of 28 eager and excited players. Our K-2 section hosted eight young players. Earning 2/4 total points, Kiran Behringer earned fifth place in his section.

In fourth place with 2.5/4 total points, is John Simmons. Jack Aronian, in his first tournament, earned 2.5/4 total points, securing him third place.

Evan Alpert and Iri Pullepu each earned 3/4 total points; and through tie-breaks, Evan Alpert earned second place and Iri Pullepu earned first. Our K-5 section hosted nine enthusiastic players. Arjn Leih, earning 2/4 total points, earned fifth place in this section. Shaina Mezheritsky, Jason Chen, Mateusz Zalewski and James Stewart each earned 3/4 total points. Through a tie-breaker, Shaina Mezheritsky, Jason Chen, and Mateusz Zalewski placed fourth, third, and second respectively, and James Stewart took home the gold.

Our K-12 section hosted 12 animated players. In fifth and fourth place, each earning 2/3 total points, is Neel Behringer and Emmanuel Hernandez, respectively. Evan Helman, also earning 2/3 total points, came in in third place. Second place, earning 2.5/3 total points, is Jacob Green. Lastly, securing the top spot with a perfect score of 3/3 total points is Sahil Vora.
