Saturday G/45 Quads

Today’s tournament featured 3 quads and a six player swiss. On top of that however, a club member has achieved the status of National Master! After winning the top quad with 2.5 total points, new NM Cayden Yang took both the prize and fulfilled an achievement that he's been working for since he began chess as a young student. Congratulations Cayden!

In the second quad, a rook vs knight endgame left in a draw secured Jack Klein's victory. Jack won with 2.5/3 points, following in NM Cayden Yang's footsteps.

In quad 3, returning player Luis-Joshua Casenas tied for first place with club member Rohan Krishna. In the Swiss section, a rare four-way tie occurred between Joshua Berkun, Henry Buczkiewicz, Erik Nebylovych, and Christopher George.

Thank you to all of today’s participants and congratulations to the winners! Once again, special congratulations to NM Cayden Yang!
