K-8 Scholastic Championships

This month’s K-8 Scholastic Championships featured many exciting games and exceptional examples of good sportsmanship. There were numerous examples of victorious players offering consolation to their opponents and wishing them luck in the remaining rounds. The results were also impressive. There was a three way tie for first place in the K-2 section. Beatrice Low, Ved Bathula and Jack Cole all finished with three points!

Things were clearer in the K-5 section where Dream Teamer Andrew Gray went undefeated with 3.5/4 to clinch sole first place. Right behind him with three were Avery Hood and Isabella Hall.

In the K-8 section, it was top seeded Dmitri Efimov who finished in first with 3.5/4. Sofia Medina and Brent McCreesh finished in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
